SPT Recruitment
Scientific Sales Specialist
Role Description
For the most part, we recruit people who are new to sales. All of the positions have a high technical content and typically require experience in a relevant laboratory/hospital unit and at least an HNC/degree or equivalent and sometimes a PhD. The ability and aptitude to sell is very important. Companies range from small start-up's with one or two sales people covering the whole of the UK to large well established companies with comparatively small territories. All of the companies will provide extensive product and sales training. You can anticipate driving around 35,000 miles a year though this varies considerably, being less in the London area and perhaps more in Scotland/North of England. You will need to be able to get along with others and work in a team but also be comfortable spending a large part of the day on your own.
Please browse the list below and send in your CV's for those positions you feel suited to. We will only contact those whose CV's we feel are a good match but we will generally keep your CV on file for four months. If you see an advert that interests you and longer than four months have elapsed since you sent your CV in it is better to resend your CV.
Vacancies are often filled very quickly. If we do not currently have a suitable vacancy on our books, then please register by sending your CV and covering letter describing the type of role you are interested in.
